| Romney Attacks Unions, Promotes Right to Work, Remains True to Anti-worker Past |
|
|
Mitt Romney, presidential wannabe and beneficiary of secret political funding from a former business partner, is at it again.
He is building on his history of killing jobs while at Bain Capital, a venture firm that cannibalized companies and left their workers jobless. He hopes to become president of the United States by promoting the spread of right- to-work (for less) laws and generally attacking the Labor Movement, the National Labor Relations Board and calling upon GOP legislators to adopt his views ( hover late he might have come to those opinions).
Campaigning in New Hampshire, Romney called for overturning NH Governor John Lynch's veto of a Republican-passed right-to-work bill. As governor of Massachusetts, Romney never took a similar position.
Romney's wooing of his party's right wing extremists is a twist in the perennial presidential hopeful's career.
But it is not such a big departure from his Bain Capital job-killing days.
